A holiday in a masseria full of charm and history

The accommodation Torre Fiore, is an ancient Masseria from the 16th century, which has been artfully restored over time. The surrounding landscape is magnificent, from high sand dunes with Mediterranean scrub to barren gorges with views of the Ionian Sea in the Basilicata region. The heart of the Masseria is an old manor house that surrounds fortified towers that once protected the estate from Saracens and robberies.
While maintaining its historic heritage, the property was restored by award-winning Toronto architect Ralph Giannone. It is said to be the best starting point for exploring Basilicata; a region rich in cultural heritage and full of natural beauty.
Nestled in a pristine oasis and surrounded by rural buildings, Torre Fiore offers 13 spacious, elegant and comfortable suites in the courtyard. These ancient white houses are called Lammie, and are the former characteristic farmhouses of Pisticci. They are part of Basilicata's cultural heritage. There are 13 beautifully appointed suites that reflect luxury and comfort. Each suite is a journey back in time into the local history of the area and its farming culture. Warm colors paired with designer furniture and wicker baskets, terracotta floors, wooden beams and braziers from the Pisticci area. This all combines with the highest level of comfort, such as king-size beds and walk-in showers.
The Masseria is home to the “Il Patio” restaurant, from which you can overlook the spectacular valley and admire the magnificent countryside, the Gulf of Taranto and the Ionian Sea, while enjoying our delicious dishes that highlight fresh, seasonal produce combined with the traditions and flavors of the Basilicata region.
Enjoying the peace of the countryside and an authentic atmosphere of Basilicata's culture. Come on a journey of discovery into the beauty of the ancient Lucanian countryside with its rich cultural and gastronomic heritage.
